We are Matthew and Kaylianne Sims, the husband and wife team behind Sims Property Solutions.

Matthew is a proud Chattanooga native who has called Tennessee home for nearly four decades. Even when corporate roles required  travel, he always found his way back to the mountains of his hometown. Kay traded the golden coast of California, for Tennessee in 2020. That cross-country move is where our story together began, and today, we are raising two beautiful children (both under three!) right here in the community we love.

From Corporate Leadership to a Family Legacy

For years, we successfully poured our energy into running other people's businesses. Matthew spent over a decade leading teams in corporate America, most recently directing operations and client experience as a Practice Director in the optometry field. Kay brought her own executive expertise as a district-level leader for one of America’s top lumber companies, before transitioning to her most vital and demanding role yet: full-time mother, homemaker, and the heart of our family.

While we were grateful for our careers, we realized it was time to build something of our own. We wanted to create a lasting legacy for our children, serve our neighbors, and raise the standard for what a local, family-run company can provide.
